Things to Know- Great Wolf Lodge
Over 20 years ago, my parents loaded us and SO much stuff into a Ford Escort and we drove to Wisconsin Dells, just to stay at Great Wolf Lodge. It was literally across the U.S. and felt like it took forever. We would stop at thrift shops and family ran Mexican food places and I did not truly appreciate it. Last week, we loaded up our kids and SO much stuff and drove to Great Wolf Lodge (thank you Jesus they opened one in Texas!). We stopped at thrift shops and ate at Antonio's in Weatherford. It was not lost on me that I'm becoming my parents. Gunner thought it was Gray Wolf Lodge based on these wolves being gray. Solid logic but we explained again. Our boys LOVED the time in the hotel. They loved the activities and running down the halls like heathens and everything about the water park. There was definitely some high points and some low points. I'm willing to share.
